In the stillness of the crypt, a translucent shimmer of movement.

Among the ancient stones an architectural sonority moves in stillness...

Moving Resonance is an exciting new dance installation, video and photography exhibition inspired by Antony Gormley’s famous statue ‘Sound II’ which stands in Winchester Cathedral’s Crypt.

The piece uses an innovative choreographic style, which was performed in the crypt; immediately around the statue itself.

In this atmospheric and contemplative work ‘Moving Resonance’ reflects on themes of meditation and healing, using a serene area in the Cathedral to promote peace and tranquillity in those who view.
